Shiham grew up moving around the world, surrounded by many cultures, ways of living, and people. Along the way, he noticed something simple yet profound. No matter where we come from, we all want the same things. A place to call home, food to share, and people to truly connect with.
Being constantly on the move taught him how to connect with others quickly and deeply. Rather than staying at the surface with small talk, Shiham learned to meet people with openness and curiosity, building meaningful relationships rooted in honesty and care.
In 2013, he arrived in Canada as a university student, eager to explore who he was and how he could make a difference in the world. His path led him into the corporate and financial sectors, where he spent time working as a manager and leader. This experience gave him first hand insight into the realities of organizational life, including performance pressures, leadership challenges, and the human cost of disengagement and burnout.
At the same time, his curiosity drew him toward behavioral psychology, neuroscience, and mindfulness. Through this exploration, he discovered how our minds and emotions shape the way we live, lead, and relate to one another, both at work and in life.
For over 15 years, Shiham has been guiding individuals and teams through experiences that cultivate greater presence, compassion, and connection. As a facilitator and a certified brain-based coach, he blends mindfulness with neuroscience and heart centered approaches to support meaningful growth, resilient leadership, and healthy workplace cultures.
He believes that when people feel safe physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually, they are able to truly thrive. Through his coaching, workshops, and keynotes, Shiham helps teams rediscover joy, purpose, and connection, reminding us that work can be human, purposeful, and full of heart.
Whether you’re nurturing leaders or strengthening teams, we’re here to support you on that journey.
Across industries, organizations are under pressure to do more with less. Yet global workforce data consistently shows that high performance cannot be sustained when people feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unseen. Many workplaces continue to optimize for productivity and efficiency while underestimating the role of psychological safety, emotional wellbeing, and trust in driving long term results.
HeartCulture Catalyst was created in response to this gap. We saw that organizations needed an approach that supports both business outcomes and the human experience at work.
Research shows that disengagement, burnout, and turnover cost organizations millions each year through lost productivity, absenteeism, and replacement costs. Employees experiencing prolonged stress and emotional exhaustion are significantly less likely to contribute creatively, collaborate effectively, or stay with their organization.
For leaders and HR teams, this often translates into managing constant change, rising mental and emotional fatigue, and cultures that rely on resilience rather than sustainable systems of support. Over time, this erodes trust, weakens leadership pipelines, and limits organizational potential.
Through years of corporate leadership experience, combined with mindfulness practice and coaching, Shiham observed a consistent pattern. The most effective teams were not defined solely by technical skill or individual performance. They demonstrated higher emotional intelligence, stronger trust, and greater psychological safety.
These teams showed measurable differences. Lower turnover, stronger engagement, healthier leadership behaviors, and improved collaboration across functions. When people feel valued and safe to contribute fully, performance becomes more consistent, adaptive, and resilient.
HeartCulture Catalyst was created to translate these insights into practical, measurable culture strategies. We partner with HR leaders and executive teams to build environments where wellbeing, engagement, and performance reinforce one another, creating organizations that are both human centered and results driven.
Our work blends neuroscience, leadership development and mindfulness to help teams communicate better, manage stress, and find joy in what they do. Because when we lead with heart, everyone wins: people, teams, and organizations alike.
